How to Apply Earth’s Apply Weed & Grass Killer
Earth’s Ally is a non-selective Weed & Grass Killer. It will kill grasses and most common broadleaf weeds, when used as directed.
For Best Results:
SUNSHINE – Apply on a warm, dry day when rainfall is not expected.
SHAKE – Shake the product well to make sure the soap is mixed in. The soap improves the formula efficacy by holding the sea salt and acid on foliage.
SATURATE – Apply generously to base of the weeds so salt can reach the roots. Below the soil, sea salt is absorbed by the plant root system, disrupting the water balance and causing the weed to wilt and die.
Tips & Tricks:
- We recommend spraying on a stream setting, not mist.
- This product will be less effective on weeds with woody stems, such as some ivies.
- We recommend spraying when weeds are small. Trying to treat a 2 ft. tall weed will require a lot of product. We recommend pulling large weeds.
- When used as directed, Earth’s Ally has been proven to kill weeds down to the root, so you don’t end up treating the same weed over and over again.
What type of weeds will Earth’s Ally kill to the roots?
Earth’s Ally has developed a powerful and reliable solution to eliminate common weeds and grasses. Their Weed & Grass Killer has undergone rigorous testing to ensure optimal performance. With the use of this product, you can easily and effectively rid your garden, lawn or any other high-foot traffic area of stubborn weeds such as broadleaf, clover, ivy, chickweed, dandelion, and crabgrass. With just one application, you can watch as the product quickly gets to work, killing these pesky weeds down to the root.
Can I plant or sod in areas where I’ve used Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer?
If you are planning to use Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer in your garden or lawn, you may be wondering if it is safe to replant or sod in the area you’ve treated. The good news is that you can do so with complete confidence.
Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer has zero pre-emergent properties, meaning it won’t prevent future growth of plants in the treated area. The salt in the product remains in the soil for just long enough to eliminate the weeds that are treated, but dissipates with rainwater or irrigation. This means there is no long-term damage to the soil, and you can replant or sod as soon as the product has done its job.
While it’s safe to replant immediately, the manufacturers recommend waiting for 2-3 days before doing so. This brief waiting period will ensure that the product has fully absorbed and there is no remaining residue that could harm new plants. With Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer, you can eliminate stubborn weeds without sacrificing the future growth of your plants.
How long will it take to see results after applying Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer?
In our review, we discovered Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer is a fast-acting solution for eliminating common weeds. For best results, apply the product on a dry and sunny day. Within just 3 hours of application, you can expect to see visible results. Sunlight is crucial as it activates the acid and other natural ingredients that cause the weed to go into distress. Generally, spraying 4-5 times per weed is enough to turn them brown within a few hours and kill them down to the root in one go. With Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer, you can eliminate weeds quickly and efficiently.
Will Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer kill nearby plants?
In our Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer review, we can confirm that it is a potent, non-selective herbicide that effectively kills common weeds. However, if you plan to use it in areas where desirable plants or grass are present, such as in a vegetable garden, mulch bed or lawn, it’s essential to be careful and avoid overspray. Over spraying may cause the herbicide to come into contact with the plants or grass you want to keep, resulting in their death. So, make sure to apply the product selectively and only target the weeds you want to eliminate. By using Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer with caution, you can keep your desirable plants and grass safe while getting rid of pesky weeds.
